In collaboration with Casa Ysasi Studio, our ultimate goal with this project is to study and build a series of simple furniture pieces that are designed and equipped for a musical “Lifestyle.”

In case study 1, we built a credenza that is simple in form, simple in construction, and has a scientific attention to proportions. These proportions are tuned for one variable: disk-jockeying.

While we intend to design each object with a very specific use, we also hope to build each piece with an adaptability in mind for the everyday user.
